Top Notch Construction LLC. was founded in 2004. We specialize in lead abatement projects, remodeling, residential and light commercial construction. Since 2008 we have focused on working with non-profit organizations, state and municipal government agencies, along with private home and business owners.
Top Notch Construction has done numerous jobs for Wisconsin Partnership for Housing and Development, Project Homes Inc., the City of Janesville, Rock County Planning and Development, Dane County Health and Human Services, as well as local home and business owners.
We meet the Focus on Energy criteria by installing energy efficient, Energy Star windows, furnaces, water heaters, light fixtures, plumbing fixtures, insulation, etc. in our construction practices. Whenever feasible we work with recycled and renewable products such as cellulose or recycled fiberglass insulation, concrete, roofing materials, and aluminum products. We recycle our roofing materials, all mechanicals, appliances and any metals, to reduce waste going into local landfills.
We currently meet HD Section 3 requirements for equal opportunity employment and are well versed in the paperwork required for such projects. We make every attempt to hire disadvantaged firms and employees whenever possible. Under current contracts we employ LBEs, SBEs, DBEs, and WBEs to complete a large portion of these contracts. We have done several Davis/Bacon projects in Green and Rock counties, and we are well versed in Davis/Bacon contracts and all reporting requirements associated.
